Today I attended a funeral that was very sobering.
A young woman died too soon. She was only 37 and she left behind a husband and 3 small children. I did not know her personally, but I do know her husband. He works in my department.
Today, I would just like to say my prayers are with him and his family and ask for your prayers for them as well.

Too often we go about our lives not thinking much about the pain other's may be suffering. When there is little you can do to comfort those in pain, the simple act of paying your respect is stronger than you think. It was very sad news, my prayers are with the family. Thank you for representing those of us unable to do so. I could not think of a better man for the job.
